Program Details:
Program 1: Non-Tournament Wrestling -
Co-ed ages 5 and up
This is for 1st year wrestlers and those not interested in participating in tournaments. They will be learning basic wrestling skills.
$25 Registration fee - includes t-shirt
Season starts 1/9/2024 - 2/14/2024
Ages 5-8 practice M/W 6-7pm in the HS wrestling room
Ages 9 & up practice T/W/Th 6-7:30pm in the HS wrestling room
There will be an end of season Fun Match with another school.
Any non-tournament wrestler can be upgraded to a tournament wrestler at any point during the season. **IDWAY Card and tournament fees will apply for the upgrade
Program 2: Tournament Wrestling
This program is for new and returning wrestlers wanting to wrestle at a competitive level.
** New for this season: All IDWAY tournaments will feature girls only and boys only divisions.
Season Details:
Optional Open Gym for those that want to get a head start on the season Dec 11-21 Mon-Thurs 6-7:30pm in the HS wrestling room
Season starts 1/9/2024 - 4/6/2024
Practices T/W/Th 6-7:30pm in the HS wrestling room
We'll be holding a home tournament to kick off the season on Jan 20th at PHS **parent volunteers needed!
State Tournament is the first weekend in April.
Fees for this program:
1- PARK Registration fee is $25 and includes a t-shirt
2- Participants must purchase and register for their own IDWAY card and is REQUIRED
3- Individual tournament fees - average cost $15/tournament
